It seems I have been struck down by what many well may consider the most debilitating illness known to “man”. OK, yes it can affect women but obviously in not nearly the same manner, or severity it affects us men. That fact is very obvious in the fact that should a woman get it she is in fact able to pretty much just carry on as normal. A man gets it and we are often put down for the count. If you haven’t guessed by now, I have a MAN COLD. Now I don’t want any eye rolling from any of the ladies out there as you really can’t understand the severity of a man cold.
OK, I admit it I am a big baby, lol.
Over all I am doing well. I have just been over whelmed by the wonderfully loving and supportive comments left for me and am going to spend my time today trying to respond to ask many as I can. I do read and appreciate every one and please keep them coming.
Hi Bill .. glad it’s one of those most common things on earth … the common cold – oh how the irritate and frustrate us … sincerely hope this is quietly chucked away – so you can get on in peace ..
My thoughts to all – Hilary
Bring ON the kleenex and chicken soup!
Oh…..you poor thing.
*laughing* At least I didn’t roll my eyes?
Take care of you, sir. Stay warm……bond with the kleenex!

Well, Bill. You are a man, after all. Can’t change that. π Honestly, given your general health, I can imagine a man or woman cold is a good deal more debilitating. Get well, soon.
Hi Bill. I took some time to catch up to your blog today (hey, why not – I need all the distractions I can get because I’m writing report cards :-). Anyways, I really like what you said that your life is determined by God not doctor’s reports. Way to trust in the Higher Power who is holding you tight in his love and purposes. THinking of you and good luck with that cold. When I have a bad cold, I use Puffs kleenexes because they are easy on the old nose!! Ok, now it’s back to report cards…….
Hey Bill, Colds are nasty. When I’m down with a cold I turn to hot chicken broth for comfort. Take care of yourself and get well soon.
Just checking in, sir. And I am hoping the ‘mansized cold’ is easing up a bit. I’m sure *ahem* that you’re taking care of yourself. Colds turn into nastiness if you don’t yaknow. And we prefer to avoid that one.
Chin up–hug the kleenex box–consume chicken soup. Oh–and rest!
π
Hey Mel this is one really bad cold. It has been going around and finally landed here. Entire body aches, head ache, fever, chills, congestion, chest is raw. Others that have had say it lasts about a week. When you feel this bad it is easy to see only the moment. In the big picture, it is only a cold, poor me big baby
