Prayers Please

For the past several weeks our neighbour and dear friend Paul has been hospitalized. Yes, for any that have followed the blog for any time. This this the same Paul that regularly beat me at crib so often I threatened to get Aunt Isabel after him.
Paul is an amazing man, well into his 90’s, physical health failing but still beating me at crib.
Spoke to his daughter Diane this afternoon. As per his wishes Paul has come home where he is most comfortable. Paul’s at peace sleeping most of the time. There really is no way to know when the Good Lord will call him home but it is expected within the next few days.
His daughter Diane and son Bob are at his side. Prayers please.

Just got home from a short but nice visit with Paul. He claimed to be in a bad mood. I certainly saw no sign of it. A short but nice visit

Asking for God’s blessing for dear Paul and his family. How fortunate for him to be at home with his children.

Bill, it is wonderful that you were able to visit with Paul. I’m sure it meant a great deal to him.

It’s good you were able to visit with him and his family. I send prayers and warm thoughts to all. Hang in there Bill.
