Yesterday was the day I went to see my neurologist and got the results of the MRI then did on my head back a couple of months ago.
Good news is the tumor has grown only very slightly over the past year. They have a new computerized system at the hospital and the doctor was able to bring up on the screen one of the pictures from the MRI. He did as I was curious about what it looked like. I can official confirm that in spite of what some may think, there really is a brain in this head of mine. I was able to see the tumor. It is in fact round in shape about the size of a large walnut. It is located in the front of the head about 2 inches above my right eye brow.
He said measurements show my brain is actually shrinking???? At first I thought he was just kidding around but he is sending me for more tests. I will be advised the where and the when. I didn’t know it was possible for a brain to be shrinking is size. Research has shown that can be a precursor to some pretty nasty stuff. I guess we shall see
Hopefully all will be well with the next series of tests.
Thank you
Bill, remember that we only use 10% of our brain, so as long as it doesn’t shrink to 10 % of its original size, you should be fine. 🙂 But in a more serious note, I hope you continue to be healthy. God bless.
Thank you Noel
I don’t know, but I would consider checking the scale originally used up against this one – – maybe the ruler is broke??? Which brings back memories of the teachers smacking the back of my hand when I did something bad (which was often)….now that’s an obvious ploy to get you to think about something else. Peace, my friend. -P-
I thank you my friend. I think you are on to something here. It had to be the ruler they were using. AHH, that explains it. lol
Bill, there have been some ‘big’ men in this world who have buckled under a much smaller load than yours. I will continue prayers for you.
I thank you my friend, prayers are always appreciated. Buckling or bowing down to anything is just not in my nature. Sometimes I just have to take a step back to allow my head to get wrapped around an idea or what ever.

Just sayin’…..
In all seriousness, as we advance in technology and have ‘new’ tests on different equipment, it’s plausible that the tests will show more detail and give impressions which may or may not be accurate.
Comparing the MRI film from five years ago to today’s MRI picture…..not a good reference point for change/details.
It’s good he’s being thorough. And I’m glad there’s another appointment set up to do some more tests (yes, I know tests aren’t necessarily ‘fun’). Peace of mind is a good thing.

You did ask for a signed statement BY the physician validating that gray matter existed, right?
I woulda. LOL
😉
Mel, you are right I should have gotten a letter from the doctor confirming there is some gray matter between these ears of mine.Well Vi was there she saw the same images so she can confirm there is at least something in there. How well I use it, well that remains in question. Hey, I have joked around about my head being empty like a bowling ball, hmm, self fulfilling prophacy??? LOL
