Dying Man’s Daily Journal – A personal Prayer Request

Had a busy day yesterday. I suppose though a 5 hour nap can take up a good bit of the day.

Yesterday, brought the arrival of Lynelle (Vi’s Daughter) together with children Sadi, age 4  and Seth age 2 but very soon to be 3.

Such visits are always nice. This one though has a bit of worry attached to it. They are here so that 4 year old Sadie can be seen by a cardiologist. It was discovered Sadie has a heart murmur.

I had to google pediatric heart murmur to really even understand what it is. I was surprised to learn of how many children as they grow will at times have what they call an innocent heart murmur. This may actually come and go as the child grows and as I read it is of no real significance. (fingers are crossed for that one) There are times though that a murmur can be an indicator of things more serious. Again as I understand it, if a pediatrician suspects this may be the case a referral is made to a pediatric cardiologist. Always get it checked out, it is better to be safe than sorry.
Sadie is in fact with such a cardiologist even as I write this. Prayers please.

always followed you website nostalgically. never really wrote a comment. for some reason, feel the urge to write something today. i am young and life lies ahead of me. however, i still feel sad somehow everyday that passes – as if i am afraid to grow older. i wish to do a lot for the world and make a huge difference in all the things that matter to me and that i can set my eyes on. i just hope i can. i am often unable to stir myself out of my laziness and lack of motivation, though people tell me i have a lot of talent. i know ‘laziness’ evokes a very casual smirk but for me it ends up being a serious problem – one that consumes a lot of my time and leaves me frustrated and helpless, often depressed. my prayers are with you buddy. i wish we knew what the secret… the mystery… the purpose.. the reason.. the idea of life was all about for sure. it is so complex and so untouchable… so present around us yet so small in the bigger scheme of things. once again, i pray for u and i hope u pray for me too… just a friend. i hope you take my prayers with you and remember me when all is said and done.

    Dear Bill,
Rest assured Sadie will be at the top of the my prayer list today and so will Ash. I’ll pray that healing come to both–physical healing for Sadie and spiritual healing for Ash. Calling all angels!! (I seem to be keeping them pretty busy lately!!!)
I’m praying for you too, Wiseman.

  11. Lynelle (Sadie's Mom) says:

    Hello everyone,
Thanking everybody for the prayers…. In my heart of hearts I knew she’d be OK. She has gone through a lot for a little girl her age…from a seizure to anaphylaxis to well let’s just say ENOUGH visiting the doc’s office! She is doing well and is very proudly walking around saying “I have a really healthy heart right Mama?” Well we all appreciate your prayers as we all believe in the power of prayer. Jason aka…Daddy is away for School in Moosejaw (10 hours away from our home) and was able to be here this weekend to celebrate both Sadie’s healthy heart and our beautiful boy’s B-day. Thank you all again……….. from all of us. Lynelle, Sadie Seth and Jay!
