I am not sure if anyone really knows what it is I am talking about when I refer to my “wonkie” head. I am referring to a new or different feeling I have been experiencing the past few years. How do I describe it, I am sure everyone can relate the the feeling you get on occasion with a cold and your sinuses are all stuffed up. The front part of your head feel sort of thick or stuffed up, imagine that through your whole head. Through in feeling dizzy and you have my wonkie head. I think I may have created a new word with wonkie or at least it certainly drives spell checker crazy.
I really haven’t been feeling to spry this past few days with a lot of extreme wonkie head and have actually made it to the computer very little. Do you think I am over doing it with the blog, when I wasn’t at the computer what was I doing? Hand writing a post that is important to me. I am going to get it up in the next few days or at least a version of it.
Wow, have I ever received a lot of really nice comments. All of the comments I have received I want to reply to individually and tomorrow instead of a post, I think that is what I will be doing. So many wonderful messages from so many dear friends.
Hey, tomorrow, Oct. 3rd. is my brother Eric’s birthday. I am going to have to do at least a short post just on that.
I’m sorry about your “wonkie” head. (I like that word. I’m known around my house for making up words and incorporating them into my everyday language.) I haven’t been able to be at the computer much lately but it doesn’t mean you haven’t been in my thoughts and prayers. Get some rest and take care of yourself. I want hear more about the home invasion story. Holy Cow!
I’m sorry about your “wonkie” head. I hope you feel better. I empathize.
I have that condition all of the time, and have had it for years, due to medical problems, and it is a part of me. LOL.
“Wonkie”…a term that all of us past the age of 50 are quite accustomed with and only too well understand the ramifications of it’s meaning. Brother this is not indigenous to you. I think it’s just that we loose track at times because by this age we have followed so, so many tracks. Tracks that have crossed and mingled to the point that we can’t see the individual tracks anymore due to the confussion of so,so many tracks. Tracks left by family, fiends, children, grand children and countless others that have touched our lives. All of a sudden we see a flattened ground before us with no distinguished foot prints to follow, because they’re almost infinite. Health concerns of one’s self and those whom you love and the wishes for tjhe well being of all those whom have touched your life…….well let’s just say it can be defined as “Wonkie”
your brother,
reg
Wonkie is a real word but over here in blighty it’s spelled Wonky so it may be the ie instead of the y that’s doing your spellchecker in. I will look forward to your post about Eric, in the meantime, you take care of that wonky head of yours.
Cheers

Hi Bill, I haven’t been visiting much lately. But I felt things were ok. I had the instinct to come visit today though. Now I know why.
The ‘wonkie head’ as you call it can be caused by one of two things:
1) deep sadness or grief you are not letting yourself express; or
2) you feel irritated by someone close to you.
Both give you very similar symptoms, you can learn to differentiate with experience. Only you can identify what is making your head ‘wonkie’, if you listen to your heart.
I used to have the ‘wonkie head’ syndrome repetitively until I found out why. I started expressing my sadness and grief — mostly by writting about it and letting myself cry until I felt nautious, then my symptoms stopped.
Hope this helps.
Much love,
Natasha
Thank you for adding me to your blogroll, Bill. It means a lot to me.
Thank you for adding me to your blogroll, Bill. It means a lot to me.
I’m with Reggie on this topic – I think most of us folks who are a bit older prolly know exactly what this “wonkie” head means only too well. I’ve got it pretty regularly most of the time lately on a big time basis.
About comments – you know I’ve gotten in the habit of answering every single comment. It’s important to me since I feel that by posting I’ve sort of invited folks into a conversation or discussion. Yes, no obligation for sure but that’s been my personal feeling and MO lately.
Peaceful day to you today.
*Hugs*
