The spam blocker Akismet seems to have been malfunctioning or something today. Thank you to my brother Robin who phoned to tell me there were comments appearing on the blog, he knew I would not approve of.
I was blissfully unaware being happily in dreamland. He is so correct in that I did not approve of them and have deleted all such. I went to Akismet and found 593 comments that had been blocked and I deleted all. After I deleted all, I suddenly realized something. As the system was obviously malfunctioning and allowing spam through, could it also have been blocking legitimate comments. I don’t know, in simply hitting the delete all button, I may have deleted comments I would have genuinely liked to read. If anyone in fact did leave a comment and don’t see it here please resend. Sorry about that.

aarhhh, not too worry Bill, shxx happens every now and then in this game does`nt it? I`m sure people will understand….still don`t understand spammers though, I really don`t get it…..
You could make this into a bit of a positive though! You could ask us all to guess the total amount of spam blocked by Akismet in your blog up to a certain date!! You must have ker-zillions!!! Hope you feeling a bit better!?
