Dying Man’s Daily Journal – More Kindness

The nausea is back big time today. It was the urge or need to throw up that woke me. It was strange in that when I first woke up I already had that “special” taste in my mouth. The “special” taste that comes after you have thrown up. I even went back to check my CPAP mask to see if I had already thrown up into it, but I hadn’t, thankfully.

Vi and I stopped over at my brother Eric’s house yesterday afternoon for a short visit. Lynda is home after her surgery. We just wanted to pop in to see how she was doing and wish her well. We were both glad to see she is doing well.

Kindness, good thoughts and good people just fill this world. The night before, we had a snow fall. I am not sure but it was about 2 or 3 inches. We got home to find our sidewalk in the back yard had already been shovelled. An anonymous act of kindness, from both Vi and I, a big thank you to our anonymous benefactor.

Yes, send some over my way too, we have`nt had any this year! Seriously though, thats really nice for someone to just do that for you and it is`nt the easiest of jobs either, good for them!
Is this sickness feeling every day Bill? Because that sounds horrible. Does it clear itself away with a bit of time or do you have to medicate it?
Strength and Love to you both..

People’s kindness reaches into all sorts of places, and really, none of us have a clue how huge they become.
Thank yous to the mystery shovelers of the world….and fellas that come bearing fish!

Sickdays suck–and a hardcandy mint seemed to help with nausea and that ‘ack’ taste in the mouth every once in a while.
Rest mingled with ‘stubborn refusal’ to BE down kept me moving on days that I didn’t ‘feel’ like participating.

Rest is a good thing–as is ‘people’ time.
    Get both, eh?
And love Vi for all she’s worth.

    *sending peacefilled thoughts*

I’m sorry you were feeling yucky. Just wanted you to know that I did answer your question about the Morning Pages and Shadow on my blog. Take good care. I am thinking of you at all different times throughout my day. K

yes, at this age, when people are so preoccupied with many things, we can still find people who are kind. some even do not let other people know of their kind deeds. these angels are God-sent. God is so good.

  7. It’s great to read your blog again. I’d almost lost it with the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Neighbours like yours are few and far between….

You know, random acts of kindness don’t happen too regularly to the same person unless there is something very special about them. It’s not like we can’t figure that out from your blog but the events just prove it’s true.

Sorry you feel so crap but glad the kindness of the mystery snow shoveller cheered you up.

    Cheers
